The aluminum sheet circle is a lightweight metal with excellent thermal conductivity, but the aluminum is a soft metal, so the cookware made entirely of aluminum sheet circles is liable to leave scratches or sheet circleoloration. A non-stick coating can be applied to the outer layer of the aluminum cookware. Teflon coatings are the most common cookware. Teflon coated aluminum sheet circles can reduce the amount of oil you use during frying, stir frying and stewing. In addition, it is also suitable for cooking foods such as omelettes, pancakes and sauces that tend to stick to the bottom of the pan. Cookware uses different grades of non-stick surface depending on the cooking needs.
Classification of Teflon coated aluminum sheet circles:
The Prima" coating is about 6-10 microns thick and is typically used in baking trays.
“Classic” is the most common, with a minimum coating thickness of 25 microns and a two-layer coating technique suitable for use once or twice a week (home).
"Xtra" double-layer coating technology for once-a-day use frequency.
“Select” is a higher grade, with a minimum coating thickness of 35 microns and a 3-layer coating technique suitable for use once or twice a day (home).
“Platinum” is a higher grade, with a minimum coating thickness of 40 microns, special anti-wear particles, and a 3-layer coating technology, suitable for frequent cooking and higher requirements. It can be brushed by normal metal utensils and even ground with abrasives.
"Platinum Pro" or "Professional" professional grade non-stick coating; suitable for professional use, can be used for a long time.
“Autograph” is the top-grade Teflon non-stick coating. Drinking utensils made of Teflon-coated aluminum sheet circles are suitable for professionals and can be used for a long time to meet the requirements of gourmets.
